2012 is here!The former year is behind us and many new opportunities are before each of us. Hopefully you have set out plans and strategies to succeed in your life this year. The number 12 represents divine order. God is a God of order and Authority. He honors our lives when we submit to Him and His divine order for our lives. This is why the Word of God is important to each of us. It’s pages consist of a divine plan God establish long before the foundations of the earth were made.

This year look at ways to develop order in key areas of your life. Here’s a few helpful tips when setting the right priorities in order.

1. Start with you! Give yourself to the reading of the Bible and prayer. There are many different study guides and helpful tools to keep you in the right direction. Let the Word purge your spiritual man and get healing in your life so you can move forward right.

2.  Set the right amount of quality time you spend with your family. Notice I said quality. This isn’t you at home watching your favorite TV program, texting your friends, or searching the web. It’s playing with the kids, sitting at the table all together for dinner, reading a good book, and creating talk time where you all communicate. Scheduled date nights and not over crowding your daily planner are good ways to keep balance in 2012.

3. Balance your budget so that money doesn’t become an issue in 2012. Start first by tithing and submitting your provisions to God. Then delegate your money out to getting things paid off, saving money for emergency, and developing great investments for your future and college funds. Families do well when money stops becoming the problem.

4. Creative thinking will always keep you sharp. Look at ways to improve your skills. Whether you take a course in new studies or freshen up in your field of employment. This world is changing faster everyday, and God told us to tarry till He comes.  The more we seek new creative ideas, market changes, and effective ways of production the more we will be ready for anything that is progressively changing in 2012. Don’t get caught sitting in the back seat this year waiting for something to happen. Stay in front and lead the way in innovation and change.

Last but not least.

5. Eat well and exercise. Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Just takes some discipline and some drive. Don’t go buy a gym membership first. Start changing your diet and doing some walking around the neighborhood. Then work your way to a gym. Don’t try to make it a 100 yard dash when its a journey.
